The mission of the Healthy Start Coalition of Hillsborough County shall be to recruit and empower collaborative, community-based program ownership in order to identify, evaluate, and to recommend new and enhanced comprehensive maternal-child health and social services.

The purpose is to educate, promote positive birth outcomes, and protect the health and well-being of all mothers and children in Hillsborough County.

The Coalition will support and promote an accessible, efficient, community-responsive system of care that supports family involvement and utilization.
