The Healthy Start Coalition of Hillsborough County works to improve the health and well being of babies and moms in our community. Through community collaboration, we are working to empower parents and caregivers to help them protect their infants.

The Healthy Start Coalition has developed a community campaign called Safe Baby to educate and empower parents. We aim to teach parents how to choose a safe caregiver for their children, prevent Shaken Baby Syndrome, and promote safe sleep. The ultimate goal is to prevent infant mortality and protect our community’s children.
