HEALTHY FAMILIES

Healthy Families Hillsborough is a nationally accredited, evidence-based home visiting program that works with parents and babies. It’s free and made to support your family at home. Healthy Families Hillsborough is generously funded by the Children’s Board of Hillsborough County. We have English and Spanish speaking staff.

Who Can Join Healthy Families?

If you are pregnant or have a baby younger than 3 months old, you can sign up for Healthy Families!
Just fill out the referrals form, and a Family Engagement Specialist will call you. They will tell you more about the program and help you get started.

How Long Does Healthy Families Last?

Healthy Families can help your family for up to 5 years! You can choose how long you want to stay in the program. It’s your choice, and you can stop anytime.

Why Healthy Families is Great:

It’s FREE – You don’t have to pay anything.
We work with your schedule – Visits happen when it’s best for you.
We come to your home – You don’t have to go anywhere!
One hour just for you and your baby – Special time to learn and grow together.
Baby check-ups – We do fun check-ins to see how your baby is growing and learning. We do Ages and Stages Questionnaires to help determine development
Fun learning activities – We bring games and ideas to help your baby grow strong and smart.
Positive Parenting – We help you stay calm (stress management) when things are hard. We show you loving ways to care for your baby, even during tough times.
Link to other services – If your family needs more support, we can connect you to other programs.
