Welcome to the Healthy Start Coaltion of Hillsborough County
The Healthy Start Coaltion of Hillsborough County is one of 31 coalitions throughout Florida. It is a community based, private, non-profit organization focused on improving the health and well being of pregnant women, their children and families.
Healthy Start Coalition Programs Include: The Healthy Start Program, Healthy Families Hillsborough, MomCare, Zero Exposure Project and the Family Support & Resource Centers.
Healthy Start Coalition Initiatives Include: The abcProgram, Baby Bungalow, Beds 4 Babies, Black Infant Healthy Practice Initiative, Healthy Teen Network, Health Disparity Task Force, Teen Pregnancy Alliance, Fetal Infant Mortality Review, Interconceptional Care and the Newborn Discharge Packet.
Funding Sources Include: Children's Board of Hillsborough County, Florida Department of Health, The Ounce of Prevention Fund of Florida, Allegany Franciscan Ministries, Children's Future Hillsborough and March of Dimes.
